Members, briefly from me as your new General Manager, thank you for the warm welcome and thank you to the Board for their confidence in my appointment. 

I am immediately impressed by the presentation and challenge of the golf course and the extraordinary location of the Club in this beautiful region. Similarly, the Clubhouse with its northern and western verandas and decks offers so much for the Hospitality experience. I am very pleased to join our Club!

Allow me to acknowledge a lot of good work must have been done by former Boards and Staff teams to be in such a position.

I recognise also the Club has had recent challenges and I thank the current Staff team for all they have done to bring us here today. Forward together as one team! Bernie Wilson - (pic) GM

Quick Update

Firstly, thank you to those members who paid their Subs by 30 Sept and a reminder for others in order to maintain booking and timesheet privileges payment please is to be made by 16 Oct.

Golf Australia (GA) is transitioning the national handicap system from Golflink to the GA brand new CONNECT system. Well done to the ProShop team through the transition process, and the Club is on track to resume handicapping from Sat 11 Oct. Any queries, any glitches, please see the ProShop, and well done to GA for the project management.

Speaking of new systems, the Club has recently transitioned to add the MiClub public website module to the members website module. Under the one banner now! Thank you to Belinda in the Office for her assistance with this and as we work through a number of enhancements and additions planned.

Lovely to see the better weather about and looking forward to many coming events including the Byron Bay Open over the weekend of 21, 22 and 23 Nov.

that's Hospitality!

The Summer Season is well underway at the Clubhouse.  The Bar is open 7 days with stunning views of the fairways and Bowerbird Dining Wednesday thru Sunday with seasonal specials including Oyster Bar and Steak Night.

Thursday Trivia and optional dinner is hosted by the lovely Shona (photographed) and is free to join and winners get a bar tab!

Fridays Happy Hour 4-6pm with Trevor Mead Meat Raffles drawn at 6pm. Kids Craft with Oceana most Fridays keeps the little ones entertained.

Sundays we have regular Live Music enjoy and a northerly aspect like no other in Byron Bay.
